I know that the show has only started however I must comment on this show. It’s realistically innovative as it takes four friends from N.Y., one who happens to be an actor w/ the other three along for the ride. It really gives an insight as to what actors nowadays go through as far as roles taken and career moves - not to mention a reaction off of a bad review from a critic. With that said all of the characters are likable but so far it’s Kevin Connolly and Dillon who are standing out so far, the other two play their parts respectively well and I’m hoping this show does well as I’m already treating it with the same respect as I’d treat The Wire and The Sopranos…Entourage is a lot of fun for the one episode I’ve seen, I plan to watch more of it as well…

This movie premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival Sept 12th 2008 and was received very positively in both showings. Festival audiences generally greet films warmly, but both audiences were exceptionally enthusiastic about this film. In the showing I attended people laughed throughout and there were even a couple instances were they applauded DURING the movie, which is a rare thing. And this was even considering that it was being seen by a largely English-speaking audience and it’s in Spanish with sub-titles!I think what made people respond so strongly was first, the movie was just a enormous amount of fun. If there was slow boring moment in the movie I wasn’t aware of it. Secondly was the serial killer herself, played charismatically by Macarena Gomez, who is so unapologetic, certain in her own justification for killing, so gleeful in her work, that you can’t help but hope the best for her! You may even find yourself cheering for her!!While Sexy Killer, does reference a few Hollywood horror films, it is far more than a parody and stands on it’s own a good solid comedy. There are some gory moments in the movie (a couple of which get big laughs), so it might not be OK for very young children but it is all played for fun.This was my last movie of the Festival and a great way to end it!

According to this very funny and very ebony comedy, that is indeed all that they do. With a cast containing more stars than Sagittarius, this mpeg seemed destined to succeed, and indeed it does.I see that sometimes people agonizes over the question “why is a flick funny?” (or not funny). Well, I don’t know the answer either, but one thing that seems to contribute here, is that every one of the stellar cast members seems to be enjoying him or herself here. Steve Bisley in particular is the most animated I have ever seen him to be.Lisa McCune is indeed a very sexy woman, and this is the first I have seen of her that allows that to come through. Coles commercials and policewoman’s uniforms have truly done nothing for her. Freya Stafford always looks great, but she seems to have been given (or chosen!) more opportunities to show herself off.The storyline is ebony, ebony, ebony. Our hero works in a very high powered law firm, beset by both internal and external problems. All of the clichs about lawyers come into play. He is buffeted by forces way outside his control, and tries to do the “right thing”. Often his choices are only between overwhelming evils. It is surely not a spoiler to say that ultimately he finds a truly creative way to succeed.The takes where he talks directly to the camera, a la Bruce Willis in “Moonlighting”, are very well done, and not overdone. And the opulent settings in downtown Sydney add much to the mood of the clip.The ending left little room for a sequel or a archives. Nevertheless, I hope and pray that there will be one.If you are a lawyer, I suspect that you won’t find this too funny, and if you are forced to sit through this, you may well cringe the entire clip. If you are anyone else, I suspect that you, like me, will find this clip to be ROFL funny.
